Characters: Belphegor-centric, though most of the Varia make an appearance.
Rating: PG-13/R for disturbing imagery, I guess, and cursing.
Summary: After the Ring Battles end in failure, the Varia recover and Bel wonders why it happened the way it did.
Notes: I actually had this written on my computer for onwards of three or four months, but I never posted it because I wasn't happy with how it ended. I'm still not- I want closure on it- but I guess I sort of realized that, with the way I wrote them, closure would be damn-near impossible. Oh well. Have fun?

Warnings: There's an OC in this, and I'm not sure if I like how he's characterized. A lot of assumptions that are only loosely based on canon (like assuming Bel was lying when he said he killed everyone). If that squicks you, I guess you can just assume this is an AU? idk D8

Backstory: Mello and Bel fought in an abandoned gas station. Bel died shortly thereafter, and upon his return, pretended not to know anything. This fic is about both of them visiting the gas station for nostalgia's sake, and running into each other.

MY BELPHEGOR CHARACTER NOTES ARE FINALLY AT A DECENT STOPPING POINT.

Almost 14 pages of character analysis here.

Oh god--I'm definitely not asking anyone to read it in the slightest (it's so tl;dr, I'd never read it all if I hadn't written it X.X ), but if it does get browsed, and you find something you disagree with, pleasepleaseplease tell me!  Trust me, character analysis is like my porn, and I want to be as accurate as possible.

I've incorperated some of my head-canon into it as well, so there's traces of a lot of my fics in there. orz.

Other stuff:  I still have to rewrite the Fighting/Abilities section, put up a sexuality section, and then do a Character relationships, post my FST, and then do an in-game timeline.  But fuck it all, I'm done for now, unless I need to edit it for doing something wrong. X.X

I'm just happy this managed to hold me over until Bel came back.  ;___;  THAT'S RIGHT, BITCHES, MY HEADKID IS BEING RESSURECTED TONIGHT HELLZ YAH

 But the thing is, I write fic and don't post them--or even worse, I start a fic and never finish. :\
 
Partially, this is because I've been working v. hard at revamping my Belphegor character notes for rp/fanfic (12 pages and counting X( ), and partially, it's because I'm being slaughtered by IRL high school senior shit.  Ugh, college.

Okay, so to those of you who don't know, I roleplay Belphegor over at disturbia_rp .  There's a Mello there, and both Mello-mun and I ship them together like burning for some reason.  Since, obviously, pairing will never happen ICly, we write fic about the.  orz.  And since I'm three weeks behind, I'll put up one of them here really quick and cheat a bit.  Sorry. ;__;

Notes/easier to understand: Awhile ago, Belphegor killed B--as revenge, Mello and Bel duked it out, in which Mello was severely injured, and Bel was lit on fire.  Bel is going to kill himself in the near future for beautifully insane reasons.  This fic is set after Belphegor comes back (because you can do that in rp-land! 8D)
Summary:  Belphegor doesn't remember anything--instead, he braids Mello's hair with fingers that are far too small.
Moar Notes:  Oh god, I wanted to do a Squabble hair-braiding fic so bad.  I probably will in the future. lol, self-plagarism
